There’s a new gastro pub in Portland, Maine getting rave reviews and I’ve been there twice. Both meals were exceptional. Here’s a look behind the scenes.
Fried calamari with tartar sauce was delicious. The breading was so light and crunchy. The drink paired well. I did a non alcoholic watermelon beverage.
Old fashioned Maine lobster bisque with oyster crackers. This dish was every bit of savory and satisfying.
I promise you that you haven’t had ramen like this before. Fall off the bone meat and a broth that begs you to bathe in.
Smash burger time and fries. It didn’t last long on the plate. How about a look inside?
The bun was perfect and didn’t overshadow the burger. The fries got devoured. Salt level on everything was on point.
Always have room for dessert when it’s panna cotta with wild Maine blueberries. I wanted to lick the bowl. This was fantastic.
Check them out for brunch on weekends or dinner weeknights. I can’t wait to go back for more. There is a lobster roll calling my name.
